Cancellation policy

Cancelling, moving and missing appointments.

A missed appointment is an hour that cannot be given to anyone else, so there is a policy. It is short.

Cancelling or moving an appointment

Give at least 24 hours notice and there is no charge. Call or text 0114 491 0890, or email enquiries@pioneer-acupuncture.co.uk.

Appointments are single sessions, booked one at a time, so moving one does not affect any others.

Less than 24 hours notice

A late cancellation means the slot usually cannot be filled, so a charge of £30 applies.

Things happen. If you are ill, or something has gone wrong, say so and it will be dealt with sensibly.

Missed appointments

If you do not arrive and have not been in touch, the charge is £50, because the hour is bought and paid for and cannot be given to anyone else at that notice. If it happens more than once, future appointments will need to be paid for in advance.

If Daisy has to cancel

You will be told as early as possible and offered the next available slot. Nothing is charged, and anything already paid is refunded in full if you would rather not rebook.

Running late

Come anyway. If you are late Daisy will be happy to still see you, but the appointment will finish at the original time, which means the needles may not be in place for as long.

Paying

Payment is taken at the clinic by card or bank transfer, after the appointment rather than before. An invoice is provided for every appointment, which you can claim against a health cash plan if yours covers acupuncture.
